The University of Twente founded the holding Technopolis Twente in 1985. The goal of the organisation is to commercially exploit or to support the commercial exploitation of knowledge, products and services of the UT.

DSIF is the first student-run venture capital fund in Europe. This position is a core strength of the organisation and allows the fund to attract many starting entrepreneurs with a lot of potential. DSIF was created for students by students to break down the barrier of formality and create relatability among our audience. This allows students to feel free and comfortable when contacting us, which is our primary aim.

Moreover, we focus on increasing the value of the start-ups in our portfolio by providing them with funding and support. By doing this, there is a high growth potential for investing in DSIF.

Twice a year they organize an accelerator program of 5 months, where the participants are provided with all the tools and knowledge in order for them to start their own business.

The largest student entrepreneurial event in the Netherlands. It is a collaboration between 10 different student-led communities across the country to create an event where students will be able to network with professionals, scout for their career opportunities and get inspired with new ideas.

Incubase is a new and unique student incubator founded by the Student Union, University of Twente and Novel-T. The mission of Incubase is to facilitate and support entrepreneurial University of Twente students with their innovative business idea.
